    Video binnen 24h schon 11500 Aufrufe...ich find's gut, was er macht: Real World Windsurfing und näher an meiner Art des Windsurfens als ein Top-Worldcupper. Klar ist immer alles "Spitzenklasse" was er von den Sponsoren bekommt aber ist zu allen bisherigen Unterstützern stets loyal gewesen.

    surferzyzz hat einfach einen ähnlichen positiven EInfluß auf Verkaufszahlen wie Erfolge im Sport. Und die Hersteller müssen weniger Kohle selbst in die Hand nehmen für Erklärvideos und Produktbeschreibung. Der Mario macht das schon (irgendwie).

    Der "wenn der das kann kann ich das vielleicht auch" Faktor ist bei Mario auf jeden Fall höher als bei Nico Prien beispielsweise. Nico ist perfekt und erklärt wunderbar auf dem Punkt, aber jeder weiß "Obacht, so gut kann ich das nicht". Das sieht so leicht aus, ist aber bestimmt sauschwer". Die Frage nach der Sau und der Schwere stellt sich bei Mario einfach nicht.

    Und ja sein "Können" liegt eher in unserem engagierten Hobbysurferbereich und daher sehr authentisch und realo.

    Naja, kommt drauf an wer "wir" ist.

    Mario ist deutlich näher an der Weltspitze als ich an ihm.

    Manche Kommentare ist aber echt unfair. Als er Videos von seinen ersten Wave-Session zeigt, hat einer sogar gemeint, Mario solle erst man Halsen (in der Welle) lernen. Absolut absurd, das kann der. Er hat halt nicht nur gut geschnittene Videos von den besten Szenen gezeigt.

    Soll garnicht abwertend sein, sorry wenn das so rüberkam. Wäre Gottfroh auch nur annähernd so gut zu surfen wie der Mario.
    Meine nur damit das ich lieber seine Videos und Enschätzungen sehe als die einiger PWA Profis die in einer ganz anderen Galaxy als ich unterwegs sind. Siehe dazu auch den Beitrag von Tourensurfer der das mit Nico Prien gut beschreibt.

    Besides Mario’s surf skills, I’ve noticed that he has a real talent for getting people to open up. Mario is a natural reporter, honestly the best in the windsurfing YouTube world in my opinion. He asks the right questions, and people give him honest answers because he’s trustworthy. With Mario, I always hear and see new things, and he really puts the spotlight on the person or product he’s covering. This results in very enjoyable and informative videos, because skilled professionals share insights you don’t hear anywhere else.

    I also watch others like Nico Prien, WindsurfingTV, Kasper, Windsurfcoach and Nils. Even though some of them currently have more viewers, from a content perspective ( especially the information Mario manages to draw out of people) they’re not as talented as he is. Mario is an excellent reporter because he genuinely focuses on getting the best information. A messy windsurf shop or seeing him struggle with something on the water doesn’t seem to bother him at all; his videos aren’t about presenting himself (in the perfect way). This selflessness is rare, and I believe it’s one of the key reasons why Mario gets such good information and earns so much trust.

    Mario would be excellent at pushing a surf magazine in a more progressive direction. And if he keeps going the way he is, he might end up replacing that kind of magazine information altogether. I actually believe that if Mario didn’t have a (sail) sponsor and could test different brands and interview designers freely, he would fill a real need for honest, high‑quality information for both manufacturers and customers. It’s even plausible that the industry would eventually need to line up and pay for Mario to test and review their products. I believe there is definitely room for a strong, independent (non‑brand‑related) YouTuber in windsurfing, especially considering how things have developed in recent years.

    Good vibes, I hope Mario keeps going for a long time, and I wish him all the best. He’s doing a great job for windsurfing. Right person at the right place and time I believe.
