Dear Partner,

After 20 years with Mystic and 7 years with North Actionsports Group, I’ll be stepping away from the company.

This is an emotional moment for me. My heart and soul have always been with Mystic. And, most importantly, with the incredible people I’ve had the privilege to work alongside for so many years.

I helped build the company from the ground up, quite literally, as I helped construct the warehouse. I’ve seen many of you join as interns, grow into managers, and lead with the same passion that built this place. I’ve also had the privilege of working closely with our partners and collaborators around the world, people who believed in us early on and helped shape Mystic into what it is today. To have witnessed the birth of kitesurfing, and to see our company stand as one of the leading groups in the industry today, is deeply rewarding.

I carry countless memories. From the highs of celebrating Mystic’s 20th anniversary, winning Brand of the Year for 13 consecutive years, watching our riders achieve incredible highs and cross the Atlantic by kite, to the lows, especially the loss of Thies, and more recently Graham. Those moments were incredibly hard, but they also brought us closer together. I’m proud of how we supported each other through those times.

>From our roots at Mystic to the growth and transformation into North Actionsports Group, it’s been an extraordinary journey. Bringing North and Mystic together was a milestone I’ll always be proud of. Together we built North from the ground up into one of the world’s top brands, while taking Mystic to new heights. These seven years, through Covid and beyond, have been one big learning curve, full of resilience, creativity, and shared passion.

I want to deeply thank you all for your energy, hard work, and the great moments I was privileged to share with you all, and with the partners who’ve been part of this journey. It has truly been a pleasure to share this journey with you, and even more so, to call you friends.

I wish you nothing but success on the journey ahead.
