Einbau Foilbox

    Hier mein Projekt vom Einbau einer Foilbox in meinen Fanatic Shark 135.

    Die Box ist von Flikka.

    Jetzt gehts an laminieren.

    Was ist besser, Glas oder Carbon?

    Warum hast du die Pads nicht vorher runter gemacht?

    Ich würde erst Carbon und dann noch Glas drüber machen. Das schleift sich nicht so schnell durch.

    man sollte sich die Ruhe und Gelassenheit eines Stuhls zulegen, der muss auch mit jedem Arsch klar kommen

    Mit den Pads habe ich ehrlich gesagt garnicht drüber nachgedacht. Werde ich mal sehen was ich da noch retten kann

    Dann werde ich mal mit dem laminieren starten.

    Warum hast du die Box nur eingeklebt und nicht mit Carbon und Glas ummantelt eingesetzt? Dann den Überstand umschlagen und auf den alten Sandwich auslegen... hoffe, du weißt wie ich meine. Dadurch könnte sich nach meinem Verständnis die Box auch am Sandwich abstützen. Es lastet ja mind. dein eigenes Körpergewicht drauf... und dann zusätzlich noch Laminat drauf zum Schluss.

    Wünsche dir noch viel Spaß am Basteln und hoffentlich ein gutes Ergebnis ?

    Meine Slotboxen hatte ich damals auch mit Glas eingesetzt, aber als ich letztens eine Powerbox als Mittelfinnenbox eingebaut habe, ist bei der Prozedur sehr viel Epoxy auf der anderen Brettseite wieder rausgelaufen und so sind ziemlich viele Hohlräume entstanden.

    Das wollte ich bei der Foilbox vermeiden und so kam der Tip es so einzukleben....

    Ah okay. Ist ja auch fast egal, die Box ist jetzt nunmal so drin. Du könntest nächstes Mal zusätzlich zum Harz für die Gewebe um die Box noch Harz mit Baumwollflocken reinmatschen. Dann läuft dir hinten nichts raus.. naja, gut.

    Wie ist es jetzt weitergegangen mit Laminieren? Hast du nochmal Bilder gemacht?

    Da will ich jetzt noch großflächig zwei Lagen Carbon drüber machen.

    Gibt es eine spezielle Fräse um später die Box wieder freizulegen?

    Meine Oberfräse ist ein bisschen unhandlich und zu kräftig dafür.

    Ich habe nen 5mm Fräser mit Anlaufring genommen.

    Also erst ein Loch in die "Luft" in der Box bohren und dann Fräser rein und Kontur abfahren. Alternativ geht auch ein scharfes Stecheisen sehr gut. Je nachdem, wie dick das Laminat ist, kann man damit einfach langschneiden. Aber wirklich nur wie ein Messer benutzen, nicht mit Hammer hinten drauf ☝️

    Und natürlich nicht in die Box schneiden ?
