    Gibt es den immer noch? Ich habe die in 1990 mal Live gesehen in Bahia Blanca als ich dort gearbeitet habe. Bin mit einige Argentinier dahin gegangen ohne vorher die Musik zu kennen. Haben das Publikum 3 Stunden warten lassen und irgendwann wurde die Stimmung schon etwas gereizt aber das Konzert war gut. War auch noch bei Mercedes Sosa die als Politike Flüchtling dann wieder ins Land dürfte nach dem die Militär Junta gestürzt war. Das war wirklich beeindruckend, was eine Stimme.

    Wir haben dort damals den Hafen von Bahia Blanca vergrößert damit größere Schiffe herein konnten um Weizen zu verschiffen, bezahlt in US Dollar von den Amerikaner die in Argentinien Weizen usw in großen Mengen eingekauft haben um nach Russland zu liefern um dort Unruhen zu verhindern wegen den verloren gegangenen Ernten nach der Wende. Die Inflation der damalige Argeninische Währung Austral war etwa 30%. Pro Monat. Die Leuten sind, nach dem die ihren Gehalt bekommen hatten, zum Bank gerannt um es zu tauschen in USD.

    Soda Stereo gibt es schon lange nicht mehr. Die Band hat sich bereits 1997 aufgelöst. 2007 gab es dann nach 10 Jahren einige Revival-Konzerte.

    Der Frontmann Gustavo Ceratis (Gesang, Gitarre, Songwriter) war danach in diversen weiteren Projekten erfolgreich - u.a. in einer Zusammenarbeit mit der Sängerin Shakira. Am 15. Mai 2010 erlitt Cerati nach einem Konzert einen Schlaganfall und befand sich danach im Koma Er starb vier Jahre später am 4. September 2014 im Alter von 55 Jahren an Herzversagen in einem Krankenhaus in Buenos Aires.


    Paul van Bellen hat den Song Profugos 2020 als Background zu einem Video mit Kevin Pritchard ( in Peru) verwendet. Ich finde, da paßt der Song energetisch gut hin.

    ja - das ist die gleiche "Schiene" wie Soda Stereo aus den 80-igern - Gitarre clean oder leicht angezerrt mit Chorus-Effekt - habe ich damals auch in eigener Band mit deutschen Texten gern und viel eingesetzt. Coole Nummer.

    Das dürften auch für URi genug Musiker sein.

    Ich mag ja auch ZZ Top. Aber auch bei denen hört man live oft 4-5 Musiker, die aber nirgendwo zu sehen sind.
