Sailors may only register foils that are made up from the component parts registered by a single brand and may not mix and match parts from different foil registrations of different brands.
For 2024 riders will be permitted to register 1 set of foil components consisting of 1 mast, 2 fuselage, 3 front wings and 2 rear wings. They will register their relevant equipment at their first event of the season and will continue to use the same equipment for the entire season.

ZitatBye bye Challenger Sails. 👋🏻 After 6 years of very successful cooperation it was time to part ways. From trying the sails first time in Tarifa in December 2017, catapulting while leading my first PWA final in my very first event with them in Korea 2018, winning my first PWA race the very next event in Japan, getting on the podium a year later and finally winning a World Title and holding World number one for almost a year. 🤯 Loads of memories, also the ones behind the scenes, long design calls, millions of drawings, emails, finally finding a way to do much more with much less. Thank you Claudio, Palmino and all my teammates over the years - I had a blast! 🔥
Some might find the timing of this odd. After all contracts expire in December and by then normally everything is settled. Normally being the key word here. I understand the tough financial position of the windsurfing industry. I understand I lost the world title in the last event. I can understand everything. But I dont understand how after 6 years and all these amazing accomplishments together you can turn around and say “I won’t pay you” and that’s it. So I sent reminders, offered payment plans, waited, stayed patient, believing in basic human dignity to honor an agreement. Well, that never happened, so it seems this story will have another chapter… and it’s not gonna be a pleasent one unfortunately. Such a shame things can go from lifelong friendship to a legal battle so quickly… I will never understand it, but I guess this how life goes. 🤷🏼♂️ Luckily tons of positive news coming soon as well! 🙌🏼

MACIEK RUTKOWSKI SIGNS WITH NEILPRYDE!
The 2022 Slalom World Champion has announced he will be teaming up with Neilpryde for the 2024 season in a bid to win his second world title!
About the move, Maciek said: “I grew up idolizing the Neilpryde team! I actually wanted to be a freestyler like Josh Stone or a wavesailor like Polakow, but being from Poland I had no choice but to go into racing.. For me Neilpryde is the strongest brand in windsurfing and I feel super grateful and honored to join such an illustrious team. It goes without saying that the goal is to win together but I’m also ready to contribute in any way possible. Having spent a few days on the sails I’m as impressed and stoked as that kid back in the day and can’t wait to take them racing around the world!”
Neilpryde also commented: “For 4-5 years now Maciek has been one of the very strongest racers out there, culminating in a World Title in 2022. Maciek’s energy and passion for the sport are unmatched since his childhood days which makes him an asset not only on the racecourse but also on the beach, promoting our sport with all his passion. His knowledge, experience and talent make him an incredible racer to add to our team. The Pole has been hard at work in Tenerife and we can’t wait to see what he will be achieving on our gear. Welcome to the team Maciek!”
Jetzt ist es also offiziell 😉
