if its an aprils joke - a lot of effort was put in
if its real - the price for the yellow monster in my garage will rise ![]()
actually i already considered paddling on it
I ordered some t-shirts from the site.. Think they are cool!
Ted the owner of the site, who is also the son of the 2 pioneers, is a real nice guy. I think its very inovative what he is doing and I am sure there is a market for the product. Those boards sold so much more than any thing else that is on the market now!
I like the idea of getting the original windsurfer back in production. A bit old school but cool as well. I bet there´s a market, just like in the car business with where the really old stuff just gets better and better (for a lover of that stuff). Windsurfing is already small and this might not be mainstream, but I bet they´ll sell some of these.
It is light wind, windsurfing coming back and that is a big market. Or atleast it used to be.. They sold like a million of these boards in the netherlands in the eighties alone..
Imagine the world market back then. If just a percentage would get back on a board, everyone would be laughing!
Ziemlich geil, muß ich schon sagen...
The people from Netherland were the first ,who used the
word WINDSURFING for our sport. Klepper was looking
for a word for our sport. SWIFT (a fast swallow!) We
used the word swiften. Later came the word windsurfing
The first boards of Klepper were not okay, but some years later came they back with S1 and always S ( for Swift)
