By the way here's the full official Mistral PR clarifying both the roles of Boards and More and Anders Bringdal for this 2009 season and onwards.
NEW LICENSEE FOR MISTRAL WINDSURF
As informed last year, the Boards & More Group, completely owned by Airesis SA
Switzerland, sold the trademark “Mistral” to Mistral International, based in Holland.
Mistral International was and is lead by Mr. Ado Huisman a former key-licensee of
Mistral-Textile in Europe.
Since then Boards & More continued Windsurfing business under the brand Mistral as a licensee of Mistral International.
After negotiations during the last months, it was decided by Mistral International to work with a new licensee for Mistral Windsurfing, starting with the 2010-collection.
This new licensee is Bringdal International, owned and run by Anders Bringdal, a well known windsurfer.
Boards & More will continue the Mistral windsurf business for 2009 products unchanged led by Thomas Latein (Sales) and Alex Hasch (Marketing).
All issues regarding these products (orders, shipments, warranties) will be handled as in the past by Boards & More.
Boards & More would like to thank its’ Mistral-business partners for the cooperation
during the last decades and wishes the brand Mistral and Anders all the best for the
future.
