  • Gabelbaumbelag erneuern... Neue Methode

    Ich habe hier gelesen, dass die Leute mit Messern, Bürsten und Schleifpapier beschäftigt sind, um den alten Griff vom gabelbaum zu entfernen. das könnte viel einfacher sein. Ich habe es selbst schon mehrmals gemacht und es funktioniert super. was zu tun ist: tränken sie einen alten lappen oder was auch immer in Thinner und wickeln sie ihn um den baum und wickeln sie folie um ihn, lassen sie ihn einige stunden stehen und sie werden den alten griff im nu abziehen. Dann entfernen Sie den Restkleber mit Verdünner und schleifen Sie den Ausleger leicht ab und bereiten Sie für den nächsten Schritt vor. und das alles ohne viel arbeit. Ich habe dies auf Niederländisch geschrieben und über Google Translate übersetzen lassen, also entschuldige ich mich, wenn es nicht ganz richtig ist.

    Today I was able to do the first wet test in light wind, often very light so a lot of bobbing. Fortunately the wind picked up at the end of the afternoon so that I was able to do a few nice runs with a Gun Vector 9.6 on it and Sonntag SLX 54 which I once had Sonntag made in 2017 for my Futura 155, so it seemed me also perfect for the F-Race 150 and that works well. I haven't really gotten to the right trim yet but what I expected from the board has come true and only promises more.

    The board is comfortable, goes nicely flat and jibes well, because of the position of the rear foot straps I get in much easier than on a Slalom board. My first impression is great and I am very happy with it. The speed was also okay while I don't have the right trim yet so will be fine. The board planes well with the right gust and with a little help you'll be away in no time. I think I will have a lot of fun with this.

    Today I have ordered a F-Race 150, so i was excited, but a few hours later my dealer called me by phone and said that there are no 150 until januari 2022.. 😢.

    Now he’s looking for me if a other dealer in a different country do have a 150 in stock… I hope so 🤞. Does someone know if there is a possibility that the German dealer has one?

    Question is, do you own the 2020 version with the thicker footpads or de version before?

    So as you know has the Exocets an extra demping beneath the heel wich I do like very much because of a knee injury. And the 2020 F-Race has a thicker footpad than usualy so that will come my way 😀.

    So as I read, the 150 has no need of very big fins according the size of the sail, I now use a 45/46 at 7,8 an 48 at 9.0 and 52 at 9.6 with my Exocet RS6 (2017). The fins I use are Hurricane, Sonntag and Winheller.

    Hallo, ich bin Holländer und kann Deutsch lesen und sprechen, aber schreibe..hmmmm ,

    Sie sagten, Sie würden sich für ein PD F-Race 150 entscheiden, haben Sie das Board gekauft und ja, was ist Ihre Erfahrung?

    Ich interessiere mich auch für dieses Board und suche nach so vielen Informationen wie möglich.

    Mein Gewicht beträgt 107kg und segele in diesem Moment Exocet Boards wie das RS6, 82cm. Dies ist ein sehr schönes Board, aber aufgrund unterschiedlicher Umstände ist meine Kondition nicht so gut, so dass ich nach kurzer Zeit etwas abgestuft werde und es dann nicht so leicht für mich ist, manchmal in den Backstrap zu kommen. Ein Free Racer bietet mehr Komfort und ist etwas einfacher zu segeln, damit ich länger durchhalte.
