Youth & Junior Slalom set to return to Alaçati this October |
The PWA is happy to confirm the second annual Alacati Windfest PWA Youth & Junior Slalom World Cup. The event, to be held in Turkey in October, will count in full towards the annual PWA Youth and Junior Slalom World ranking. The inaugural event held in November 2022 at the Cagla Kubat Windsurf Academy was a huge success with over 80 competitors from around the world attending to compete in both fin and foil slalom disciplines, which are run separately at the youth and junior level, with an overall champion also being crowned at the event.
Racing last year Leading the way in Youth and Junior slalom racing, the event was the first of its kind on the PWA Tour, and we look forward to adding more destinations around the world soon.
