Viganj kann ich nur empfehlen, Stellplätze gibt es genug, im Juli und August jedoch schon deutlich mehr los,als im Juni, der Rüdi hier im Forum ist Experte, fährt schon zwanzig Jahr da hin, ich war bisher zweimal, leider hatten wir vom Wetter nie richtig Glück und somit nie richtig Thermik...

Viganj is one of the most known windsurfing and kitesurfing spots in Croatia. Sea channel between Pelješac and Korčula and the wind that blows in it provides ideal conditions for windsurfing and kitesurfing. the wind starts on May until middle of September.If you come on August you can expect wind from 12-25 knots,so i would suggest you bring 12,14 and maybe 9.The wind is very stable and full so even if it is 11-12 knots you can ride 14 with no problem.With 20 knots you already need 9m.The water is light choppy with a little bit of current because this is a channel,but nothing special.But you have the most fantastic scenery because you can ride to the island of Korčula and its really beautiful.It is not a sandy beach but it is very beautiful with a lot of kiters and windsurfers and the water is crystall clear.You also have rescue service on the beach ,restaurant,toilet,beach bar and a kite center,everything direct on the spot.I would suggest you stay in VIGANJ either a camping site or apartments,because everything is within 1km.

VAN PICK UP SERVICE ( Van for up to 8 people)

The pick up service around Viganj and Orebić is free of charge for our costumers.
We can pick up our costumers from DUBROVNIK AIRPORT 24h/7days a week and the price for one way from Dubrovnik airport to Viganj is 50eur ( aprox. 150km) The price is for the whole van up to 8 people.

At Water Donkey center we can offer pick up service for our costumers with our speed boats for up to 10 people.
The Pick-up-service around Viganj and town of Korčula is free of charge for our costumers.
If you fly to SPLIT AIRPORT the best way to come to Viganj is to take a fast ferry to the town of Korčula ( 2,5hours ) and from there we can pick you up with our speed boats ( free of charge for our costumers)
