P.S: you won't get the water out of the board without a vacuum pump!

I know this is a bit late, but may be useful for others.
The name is totally misleading... this is a 100% carbon boom, i.e. the boom arms and front piece are "one piece" - the backend is full carbon; also one piece. So it's not a "Hybrid", however the clamp is not that good, but you can upgrade to one of these fancy HPL clamps, costs around 90$, though. What a shame as the boom is very stiff...
