xt ist Technora, richtig. Scheint teures Tuch zu sein, welches ja auch im neuen Ghost verwendet wird.
Da gibt es auch gewaltige Preisunterschiede verglichen z.B. mit dem Global.

Global 6,2qm 589,-
Ghost 6,1qm 715,-

mal sehen wie sich das so anfühlt. Ghost`s bekomme ich auf alle Fälle Ende 1.Quartal 2010 rein. TR ´s in xt Version eher nicht, denn mit dem üppigen HVK ist natürlich auch der HEK entsprechend. Da lege ich mir doch eher 3 Freeridesegel mehr ins Lager

Small adjustments to the outline increase tip span, reduce boom length, and in combination with batten angle changes, make the twist even and correct for each situation. The continued use of our custom load cell is developing a data base which helps us to maintain the same feel throughout the range and to make the transition from size to size and mast to mast progressive and dependable, assuring similar handling character and performance. By utilizing this scientific method of development we are able to define the tension required to adequately form the skin of the foil, bend the mast appropriately, and balance luff curve against twist. Wenn man das Masttop mit der einen Hand festhält und mit der anderen das Segeltop nach unten drückt, spannt sich das Achterliek und das Loose geht...

Im oberen Bild sieht ma aber tatsächlich nicht so viel LL, aber vielleicht liegt das auch ein bisschen am Material.

Es ist doch deutlich LL zu sehen, es ist nur optisch nicht so augenscheinlich wie bei Monofilm.

Naja, Du willst ja auch keine Rennen damit gewinnen...

Ich finde den Preis für die xt etwas übertrieben. Mein 11er Aerotech VMG wiegt ~7,3 kg (ist aus ähnlichem/dem gleichen Material gefertigt) und hatte aber einen VK von ca. 880euronen...

Aber schön sehen die Segel aus...und das sicher auch noch nach 2-3 Jahren

nun ist es ja so, das derjenige, welcher sich solche Segel anschafft zu 99% auch auf Regattaebene irgendwo mitmacht. Ansonsten gibt da meiner Meinung nach kein Sinn, nicht mal für den ambitionierten Hobbyracer für den Geld kaum ne Rolle spielt. Auch kommt man mit einem Exemplar selten um die Runden, braucht also gleich mehrere davon. + passende Masten + Carbongabel.
Insofern gibt es natürlich die Alternative ein Komplettpaket zum Teamfahrerpreis zu erwerben. Meines Wissens kann man da bis zu 50% vom HVK abknappern. Man sollte halt beim DWSV oder VDS Mitglied sein, und dann auch tatsächlich irgendwo teilnehmen um die Marke Mauisails zu präsentieren. ..man muß auch nicht unbedingt gewinnen leistungsbezogene Teamfahrerverträge gibts bei Mauisails nicht, m. W. nicht mal irgendwelche "Verträge"
