The GT-3 FRC sail is a free race sail and the expression of the “little sister” is a metaphor for a bit less of a sail than the Race SF. This does not mean less performant, but it means easier to handle. The mast pocket is narrower and the sail itself is less intense than the Race SF.
So now it really depends of your knowledge of sailing and what you want from the sail. For sure the GT-3 will be easier to pump as is less stiff and more forgiving sail so it will make you plane earlier on the fin if your knowledge is not amazing also if you do not have the physical preparation on the top, but if you have a very good knowledge of pumping maybe you be better using the force of the Race SF for early planning. The GT-3 FRC will be very good also on the foil just easier. In the future there will be also a completely foil dedicated free race sail, but as you want to use the sail for fin and foil than the GT-3 FRC would be the better choice. This is my point of view and hope this helps you on your choice.
