  • Das war Tag 4:

    Denmark

The wind continued to blow on day 4 of the 2017 Waterz Hvide Sande PWA World Cup and thankfully the seaweed which caused so many issues yesterday was not a problem today with the overnight offshore winds solving the problem.

Today wasn’t always plane sailing as squalls caused large variations in both wind strength and direction, but overall there was further, excellent racing in 20-30 knots of breeze, which saw most of the girls on 6.2-70m and the guys on 7.8-8.6m’s.

    Somewhere under the rainbow

By the end of day 4, two further eliminations have been completed, which sees Sarah-Quita Offringa (Starboard / NeilPryde / Maui Ultra Fins) place one-hand on the event and world title after winning two eliminations today, while Antoine Albeau (RRD / NeilPryde) is firmly in the hunt for the event title after also winning both eliminations today to greatly reduce Matteo Iachino’s lead.

A timely start by Sara-Quita Offringa

    Women’s

Sarah-Quita Offringa (Starboard / NeilPryde / Maui Ultra Fins) may have started the event slightly slowly for her - 4th - but since then the 26-year-old has been in scintillating form, which has seen the curly gem complete a hat-trick of race victories. Offringa may have started the day in second place, but after her performance today she has now moved into 3.9 point lead, which puts her on the verge of capturing the 2017 Women’s PWA Slalom World title.

    DK17_ls_Sarah_Quita_nails_the_finish.jpg

Sarah-Quita Offringa holds off Delphine Cousin Questel

Delphine Cousin Questel (Starboard / S2Maui) is Offringa’s closest challenger after a solid day which saw the former two-time world champion claim two, 2nd places, but the 26-year-old will have to do more if she wants to take the title race into the last event of the season.

    DK17_sl_Delphine_Cousin.jpg

Delphine Cousin Questel on the fly

After an extremely bright start to the event - Lena Erdil (Starboard / Point-7 / AL360) - suffered a disastrous day. The vice-world champion led the event at the start of the day but drops to 3rd place at the close of play after disappointing 5th and 9th place results today. In the second race, Erdil was a little unlucky after crashing with Oda Johanne (Starboard / Severne / Maui Ultra Fins) before the start line, which all but ended her hopes of mounting a comeback.

    DK17_sl_Lena_Gybes.jpg

    Lena Erdil

Marion Mortefon (Fanatic / NorthSails) sailed excellently again today as she secured two further 3rd places to cement her 4th place in the event rankings while giving herself a shot at breaking into the top 3 as she now trails Erdil by just 1.3 points and Cousin Questel by 3.

    DK17_sl_Marion_Mortefon.jpg

    Marion Mortefon

20-year-old Maëlle Guilbaud (Patrik / LoftSails) made a slow start to the event with 8th and 12th place finishes, but today she bounced back as she rediscovered the sort of form that sees her ranked in joint 3rd in the overall world rankings. Guilbaud will be much happier with her performance today after securing two solid 4th’s, which sees her rise into the top 5 at the expense of Jenna Gibson (Fanatic / NorthSails) and if the second discard comes into play then she could yet improve on that.

    Men’s

    Closing In

Reigning World Champion - Matteo Iachino (Starboard / Point-7 / Shamal Sunglasses) - held a clear advantage at the top of the event rankings at the start of play today, but has seen his lead reduced to just 1 point heading into Day 4 after current world tour leader - Antoine Albeau (RRD / NeilPryde) - bounced back with a bang to win both of the eliminations completed today. Albeau acknowledged that while his speed was excellent on the opening day, his concentration may have wavered when it mattered the most, but today he was back to his clinical best and there is now a thrilling battle for the event title on our hands - which could prove pivotal in deciding this year’s world championship.

    DK17_sl_Albeau_in_control.jpg

    Men on the Move

With the discard coming into play after Elimination 4 several sailors took their opportunity to climb the rankings:

    - Ross Williams (Tabou / GA Sails / Mystic / Shamal Sunglasses) - who came into the event 4th in the overall rankings - was one of the days biggest movers. The Brit suffered a shock quarterfinal exit in the opening race but has since recovered impeccably with 2nd, 3rd and 5th place finishes, which sees him rise from joint 15th into 4th.

    DK17_sl_Williams_hits_form.jpg

    - Arnon Dagan (RRD / NeilPryde) sailed close to his best today as the Israeli earned two, second places, which sees him rise from 7th to 3rd. Dagan was leading the second winners’ final of the day, but was a little disappointed that the wind dropped during the final, which allowed Antoine Albeau to reel him in and deny him the bullet.

    DK17_sl_Dagan_on_form.jpg

    Arnon Dagan back to best

    - The biggest move of the day though was actually Marco Lang (Fanatic / NorthSails) who climbs all the way to 10th. Lang had a disastrous start to the event after being knocked out in the second round, but has hit back with 3 consecutive top 10 finishes (8th, 9th, 9th) to brilliantly recover.

    DK17_sl_Lang_at_the_mark.jpg

Marco Lang breaks into top 10

Pierre Mortefon (Fanatic / NorthSails / Chopper Fins) started the day in 2nd place, but falls 3 places to 5th after an indifferent set of results. The Frenchman began with a solid, if unspectacular 7th, but then jumped the gun in Heat 10 of Elimination 4 to be disqualified in the quarterfinals. The vice-world champion now faces a real battle to make the podium, which could then see him lose valuable ground on Albeau and Iachino in this year’s title race.

    DK17_ls_Pierre_Mortefon.jpg

    Pierre Mortefon looks on

Julien Quentel (Patrik / Avanti) and Maciek Rutkowski (Tabou / GA Sails) both fall one place to 6th and 7th respectively. 6th for Quentel would still massively improve on his 20th place from Costa Brava, while Rutkowski is still on course for his best result ever of the PWA World Tour. However, he will have to raise his game from today. The Pole began the day with 3 top 10 finishes but has since been eliminated in the quarterfinals and second round, which leaves his result hanging in the balance.

    DK17_sl_Maciek_Rutkowski.jpg

    Maciek Rutkowski

Antoine Questel (Starboard / S2Maui) rises to 8th after a top 10 and 16 finish, while the Frenchman is safely into the semifinals in race 5 - one place ahead Tristan Algret (Starboard / Severne / Mystic / Chopper Fins), who keeps his place in the top 10 - 9th

    DK17_sl_Antoine_Questel.jpg

    Antoine Questel

    A Day to Forget

Germany’s Sebastian Kördel (Starboard / GA Sails) saw his challenge for the podium dismantled today as the 26-year-old endured a day to forget. Kördel, who earned his first ever podium here in 2016 - started the day in 3rd, but falls to a lowly 12th after a quarterfinal exit in race 3, followed by two second round exits, which could see him plummet further down the rankings when elimination 5 is completed.

The forecast looks for tomorrow sees a volatile low approaching Hvide Sande, so depending on how that tracks will decide the day. At the moment it looks as though the morning will offer the best conditions, so the skippers' meeting has been called for 9am with the action commencing from 9:30am (GMT+2).Make sure you tune into www.pwaworldtour.com to follow all of the racing live.

    Ziemlich armseliger "Humor"....

Highlights Day 4 - Hvide Sande PWA World Cup

At the start of the event we were promised storm force winds and today that’s exactly what Hvide Sande, Denmark, offered as savage gusts in excess of 50 knots and driving rain provided a scintillating day of racing.

Delphine Cousin Questel (Starboard / S2Maui) came into today knowing she needed to outperform Sarah-Quita Offringa’s (Starboard / NeilPryde / Maui Ultra Fins) and that’s exactly what she did to keep the event title alive. Meanwhile, Antoine Albeau (RRD / NeilPryde) dominated again to take a stranglehold of the event.

    Women’s

Delphine Cousin Questel (Starboard / S2Maui) produced her best performance of the season so far - in the most extreme conditions - to reduce Sarah-Quita Offringa’s (Starboard / NeilPryde / Maui Ultra Fins) event lead to 0.7 of a point after brilliantly winning both eliminations today, which keeps her event and world title hopes alive. In order to win the title, Cousin must win here and she has given herself every chance of doing just that after today. Her performance in the second winners’ final was particularly impressive as she flew down the penultimate straight to overtake Offringa and secure back-to-back bullets.

    DK17_sl_Delphine_hits_form.jpg

    Delphine Fights Back

Offringa is still in control of her own fate, but now faces a tense final day with Cousin Questel within striking distance. In the event that one more race was to be completed, then put simply, if Offringa beats Cousin Questel in the next race then she will be the event and world champion, but if her French rival can summon up one more victory it would take the title race into the final event of the season in New Caledonia. However, if there is more than one women’s race tomorrow then virtually anything can happen.

Meanwhile, Lena Erdil (Starboard / Point-7 / AL360) enjoyed a better day than yesterday with a 3rd and 4th place, but things may have been slightly better as she could’ve also finished 3rd in the first race if she had managed to hold onto her last gybe in the nuking conditions. That let Marion Mortefon (Fanatic / NorthSails) through to claim third and the 25-year-old is now just 1.3 points behind Erdil now and has every chance of making the podium if it’s possible to complete more racing.

    Men’s

Antoine Albeau’s (RRD / NeilPryde) purple patch continued today as the 23-time world champion reeled off another 2 bullets - meaning he has now won the last 4 races to take control of the event. On the opening day Albeau said he hoped for strong winds so that he would have the chance to jump on his small board and sails and today he showed why as he continued his dominance and it’s hard to see him relinquishing the advantage he holds heading into the final day - 3.6 point lead.

    DK17_sl_Albeau_Jumps.jpg

    Antoine Albeau

For the first time in the event - Matteo Iachino (Starboard / Point-7 / Shamal Sunglasses) - loses the event lead. The reigning world champion finished 2nd in the opening race, but then crashed in the second winners’ final of the day when in the top 4 to eventually finish 7th. The Italian instantly discards that result, but with Albeau’s hot run of form, it’s not enough to maintain his place at the top of the event rankings.

Ross Williams (Tabou / GA Sails / Mystic / Shamal Sunglasses) started the day in 4th but has now cemented his place in the top 3 after another solid day, which saw the Brit record two, 4th’s. However, things could’ve been even better for him as he was leading the opening final, but then due to the poor visibility he started sailing towards the wrong mark, which cost him the opportunity of earning a bullet. Williams remains on course to record back-to-back podiums, which could see him break into the overall top 3 with Pierre Mortefon (Fanatic / NorthSails / Chopper Fins) not firing on all cylinders again as the Frenchman recorded a solid 3rd, before a slightly disappointing 12th.

Arnon Dagan (RRD / NeilPryde) falls one place to 4th, while Mortefon and Julien Quentel (Patrik / Avanti) remain in 5th and 6th respectively. Quentel looked as though he was going to win the 6th Elimination only to see Antoine Albeau produce a stunning comeback with a phenomenal burst of speed.

Elsewhere, Tristan Algret (Starboard / Severne / Mystic / Chopper Fins) rises two places to 7th, while Antoine Questel (Starboard / S2Maui) remains in 8th. Fellow countryman - Pascal Toselli (99NoveNove / Loft Sails / Chopper Fins) breaks into the top 10 for the first time this event - 9th - while Mateus Isaac (JP / NeilPryde) completes the top 10.

Maciek Rutkowski (Tabou / GA Sails) and Marco Lang (Fanatic / NorthSails) will both be desperate to complete the 7th race - which would bring the second discard into play - to give them the opportunity to re-establish themselves in the top 10.

After a disappointing run of results - Ben van der Steen (Patrik / Gun Sails) - found his form in the strong winds to finish 3rd in Elimination 6, but any hopes of staging a late comeback were ended by a quarterfinal exit in Elimination 7.

The skippers’ meeting has been called for 11am tomorrow morning with the action commencing from 11:30am (GMT+2) onwards. Make sure you tune into www.pwaworldtour.com to follow all of the racing live.

Highlights Day 5 - Hvide Sande PWA World Cup

Major drama unfolded on the final day of the 2017 Hvide Sande PWA World Cup as the women’s event and world title race saw the pendulum swung back and forth in the favour of Sarah-Quita Offringa (Starboard / NeilPryde / Maui Ultra Fins) and Delphine Cousin Questel (Starboard / S2Maui). Meanwhile, Antoine Albeau (RRD / NeilPryde) earned his 3rd event title out of the 4 events completed so far to extend his lead at the top of the overall rankings.

    DK17_ls_Albeau_and_Sarah_Quita_celebrate.jpg

    Antoine Albeau & Sarah-Quita Offringa

    Women’s

You couldn’t have written the script for the final day here in Denmark as the last women’s race of the week took several dramatic twists and turns - meaning Sarah-Quita Offringa (Starboard / NeilPryde / Maui Ultra Fins) and Delphine Cousin Questel (Starboard / S2Maui) endured an emotional rollercoaster.

Offringa was involved in the opening semifinal and everything looked to be going just fine with the reigning world champion holding a comfortable lead and looking as though she was easily going to qualify for the winners’ final. However, it soon became apparent that Offringa, and all of the other girls, had sailed the wrong course as they crossed the finish line in the wrong direction, which led to all 12 girls being disqualified from the heat.

    DK17_sl_Offringa_action.jpg

    Sarah-Quita Offringa in the semifinal

This swung the door wide open for Delphine Cousin Questel (Starboard / S2Maui), who had reduced Offringa’s lead to less than a point after yesterday’s brilliant performance where she won both eliminations.

Cousin Questel would still need to win the final race in order to deny Offringa the event and world title - while forcing the title race into the season finale in New Caledonia, but the 26-year-old couldn’t have wished for a better opportunity to deny Offringa as only 5 women lined up for the winners’ final.

    DK17_sl_Delphine_Cousin.jpg

    Delphine Cousin Questel

For Offringa, the tension was unbearable and she chose not to watch as she thought she had blown her chances of wrapping up the event and world title, but she didn’t know about what was unfolding behind her… Cousin Questel raced into an expected lead as they approached the first mark and it looked as though she was going to snatch the event title and rain on Offringa’s parade. However, as the former 2-time world champion rounded the opening buoy she dropped into the water and with the light winds she struggled to recover, which let Marion Mortefon (Fanatic / NorthSails) to sneak through a take the lead. Meanwhile, Cousin Questel went from 1st to 5th as she watched her world title dreams drift away for another year.

    DK17_sl_Delphine_goes_down.jpg

    Delphine Cousin Questel

    A Rare Mistake

Offringa returned to the beach and still didn’t know if she was the event and world champion. In her head she still doubted the outcome of the result and needed to be reassured that a rare mistake on her behalf had not been punished - before being overcome with emotion - a mix of relief and happiness at being crowned the Women’s PWA Slalom World Champion for the 4th time in her spectacular career- which is her 14th overall world title.

    DK17_ls_Sarah_Quita_on_top.jpg

All smiles in the end for Sarah-Quita Offringa

Marion Mortefon went on to win the 7th Elimination and with Lena Erdil (Starboard / Point-7 / AL360) missing out on the winners final - under the same circumstances as Offringa - the 25-year-old earns her second podium of the season, while dislodging Erdil from the top 3 for the first time in 2017.

    DK17_sl_Marion_Mortefon.jpg

    Men’s

With the wind not kicking in until after 2pm the men already eliminated from Elimination 7 were released for the event meaning only one further race was completed, which meant that Antoine Albeau (RRD / NeilPryde) had already wrapped up the without even going on the water today after a run of 4 consecutive bullets.

    DK17_ls_Albeau_family_celebrate.jpg

    Antoine Albeau & Family

Matteo Iachino (Starboard / Point-7 / Shamal Sunglasses) won the last elimination of the event, which was his 4th victory of the week, but it wasn’t quite enough to defeat Albeau as he missed out by just 0.3 of a point, which keeps him in second place in the overall rankings with two events to go.

    DK17_sl_Iachino_takes_race_seven.jpg

    Matteo Iachino

Ross Williams (Tabou / GA Sails / Mystic / Shamal Sunglasses) and Arnon Dagan were embroiled in a battle for 3rd and 4th place on the final day. The Brit held the advantage meaning Dagan would need to finish in the top 2 and Williams finish 4th or worse. The two entered the first mark in close proximity with Dagan forcing Williams wide which saw the Israeli secure a solid second place, but unfortunately for Dagan, Williams finished 3rd meaning he earns his second podium of the year - with Dagan finishing 4th.

    Ross Williams and Arnon Dagan

Pierre Mortefon (Fanatic / NorthSails / Chopper Fins) and Julien Quentel (Patrik / Avanti) remain in 5th and 6th place, while Maciek Rutkowski (Tabou / GA Sails) rises to 7th to earn his best ever result on the world tour. The Pole needed a slice of luck in the final race, which saw Amado Vrieswijk (JP / Severne) drop his final gybe as Rutkowski secured 4th - before going on to finish 5th in the winners’ final. Rutkowski sailed solidly all week and deserves his just reward!

    DK17_sl_Maciek_Rutkowski.jpg

    Maciek Rutkowski

Antoine Questel (Starboard / S2Maui) remains in 8th with Tristan Algret (Starboard / Severne / Mystic / Chopper Fins) and Mateus Isaac (JP / NeilPryde) completing the top 10.

The prize giving was held shortly afterwards and the men’s slalom fleet will meet again in Sylt, Germany in a couple of weeks time for their penultimate battle of the season, while the women will fight it out one more time this year in New Caledonia at the end of November - together with the men.

Highlights Day 6 - Hvide Sande PWA World Cup

The last week in Denmark saw virtually the whole spectrum of slalom conditions it is possible to compete it, which provided the most all-round test of the season so far with winds anywhere from 8 knots right up to 45 knots testing the sailor's mettle and resolve against whatever Hvide Sande had to throw at them.

    Women’s

In the women’s division each day saw one of the main title contenders - Sarah-Quita Offringa (Starboard / NeilPryde / Maui Ultra Fins), Delphine Cousin Questel(Starboard / S2Maui) and Lena Erdil (Starboard / Point-7 / AL360) - stake their claim for the event title, while trying to keep their world title aspirations alive.

Current vice-world Lena Erdil won the battle on the opening day as the Turkish beauty clinched the first bullet of the week before backing it up with a solid second place to lead the event at the end of day two - after a windless first day. However, after that bright start, Erdil saw her title challenge derail for the second year in a row in Hvide Sande after a disappointing run of results on the following days, which saw Erdil slip outside of the podium places at an event for the first time since August 2015. Despite a poor end to the event Erdil remains in 2nd place the overall rankings but will face a stern challenge in the season finale in New Caledonia to defender place on the overall podium.

With Erdil’s challenge falling by the wayside that left Offringa and Cousin Questel to battle it out, but after Day 4 it looked as the Aruban had all but wrapped up the 2017 PWA Women’s Slalom World Championship after the multiple time world champion reeled off a hat-trick of bullets to take a stranglehold over the event and world title race.

However, Cousin Questel hadn’t given up hope yet of denying Offringa and the former two-time world champion produced a rousing performance on Day 5 by taming the storm force winds to secure two clinical bullets which hauled her back into contention, while setting up an intense final day battle. If Cousin Questel could win the final elimination of the week she would snatch the event victory from Offringa’s hands and force the title race into a decider in New Caledonia.

The final race couldn’t have been any more dramatic as every girl - including Offringa - was disqualified from the opening semifinal for sailing the wrong course - presenting Cousin Questel with a dream scenario to stage a stunning comeback with just 5 girls left to compete in the winners’ final. The 26-year-old led, as many would’ve expected, into the opening gybe, but then disaster struck as she dropped her gybe - and with the light winds - Cousin Questel was left powerless as she watched her title hope dreams fade away for another year.

    Disaster for Delphine

One persons misery was another’s joy - and relief - as Offringa was let off the hook for a rare mistake and after barely putting a foot wrong all season she deservedly wraps up this year’s Women’s PWA Slalom World Championship with an event to spare - which is her 4th slalom world title and her 14th overall - after collecting her 10th PWA Freestyle World Championship earlier this year.

Marion Mortefon (Fanatic / NorthSails) saw her incredible consistency (5 top 3 finishes out of the 7 races completed - including victory in the last) rewarded to earn her second podium of the season, which brings her firmly into contention for the overall podium as she will now hope to discard her 11th place from Japan. The 25-year-old will be battling it out against Cousin Questel, Erdil and Maëlle Guilbaud (Patrik / LoftSails) - who remains on course for her best season on the world tour after another solid performance in Denmark - 5th - which sees her remain 3rd in the overall rankings with an event to go.

Elsewhere, debutant Jenna Gibson (Fanatic / NorthSails) caught the eye as she finished 3rd in the first elimination of the week, before wrapping up the event with another 3rd to take home an impressive 6th place in her opening event and she could be one to watch.

Antoine Albeau (RRD / NeilPryde) bounced back from an uncharacteristically slow start, which saw him finish 10th and 4th in the opening two races to eventually seal his third event in a row as the 23-time world champion remains firmly on course for another world title. After that slow start, by his standards, Albeau then activated beast mode to win 4 consecutive races, which shot him to the top the event rankings. With the wind not arriving until mid-afternoon on the final day, Albeau was officially crowned the winner of the event before the completion of the last race - with AA just out of the reach of reigning world champion Matteo Iachino (Starboard / Point-7 / Shamal Sunglasses).

In the preview, we stated that Iachino looked to be back to his absolute best and he showed that from the start in Denmark as he made a perfect start to the event with two bullets. However, there was nothing he or anyone could do against Albeau in the howling winds of Day 4 and despite winning Elimination 7 - his 3rd victory of the week - the Italian missed out by just 0.3 of a point.

The title race now looks as though it will be a two-man fight between Albeau and Iachino with Pierre Mortefon (Fanatic / NorthSails / Chopper Fins) losing valuable ground to his two rivals. The Frenchman sailed solidly again to secure 5th place, but you’d have to feel he would need to win both of the remaining events and have Albeau and Iachino both underperform to have any chance. However, he remains firmly in the hunt for the overall top 3.

At this stage Ross Williams (Tabou / GA Sails / Mystic / Shamal Sunglasses) is Mortefon’s biggest rival with the two heavyweights tied on points - 3010 - after the Brit recorded back-to-back podiums with another excellent performance. Williams held off a stern challenge from good friend Arnon Dagan (RRD / NeilPryde) on the final day to defend 3rd place, with Dagan having to settle for 4th, but he will be happy to have bounced back from a disappointing 36th place in Fuerteventura and one more good result would see him rise back into the overall top 10 - currently 13th.

Julien Quentel (Patrik / Avanti) rises to 5th in the overall rankings after being able to discard his 20th place from Costa Brava after producing a solid performance, which never saw him finish outside the top 16. Quentel’s consistency saw him finish 6th in Denmark.

Maciek Rutkowski (Tabou / GA Sails) made a bright start to the week with 3 top 10 finishes in a row (8th, 6th, 10th), but then faced a wobble in the middle of the event after 3rd round and quarterfinal exits in Elimination 4 and 5. In the past the Pole may have crumbled but this week he found the tenacity and mental resolve to bounce back - taking advantage of Amado Vrieswijk’s (JP / Severne) mistake in the final race to snatch the last place in the winners’ final - where he would record his best result of the week - 5th - which deservedly earns the 25th year old his best result since 2014 - where he also finished 7th in Sylt.

Antoine Questel (Starboard / S2Maui) has been Mr. Consistent throughout the season and the Frenchman maintained his form over the last week to record his 3rd top 10 finish of the year - 8th - here in Hvide Sande, which sees him rise one place to 7th in the overall rankings.

Tristan Algret (Starboard / Severne / Mystic / Chopper Fins) flies into the overall top 10 after an excellent week which saw him claim 9th place in Denmark. The former PWA Youth World Champion is still only 23-years-old, but already looks to becoming of age with added consistency and maturity in each of his performances this year. Algret will now be determined to maintain his current level of performance in the remaining two events as he is currently on course to smash his previous best of 18th overall in 2015.

Brazilian Mateus Isaac (JP / NeilPryde) seems to enjoy sailing in Denmark. The 23-year-old claimed 8th place here in 2016 and enjoyed another fine week to finish 10th, which is his best result of the season by far.

Elsewhere, Pascal Toselli (99NoveNove / LoftSails) just missed out on his 3rd top 10 finish in a row after being nudged out to 11th place on the final day, but the Frenchman still rises to 6th place the overall rankings after being able to discard his 29th place from Korea.

With two events to go Gonzalo Costa Hoevel (Starboard / Severne / Chopper Fins) and Cyril Moussilmani (99NoveNove /Severne) complete the overall top 10, but they have Marco Lang (Fanatic / NorthSails) and Sebastian Kördel (Starboard / GA Sails) right on their tails. Lang now sits in 11th after recovering brilliantly from a disappointing result in Japan, while Kördel slips outside the overall top 10 for the first time season after a bright start in Denmark quickly faded after a run of poor results.

The second edition of the Waterz Hvide Sande PWA World Cup was even better than last year - with many classing the 4th day of racing as some of the best they have ever competed in. The last week saw some incredible racing and plenty of drama that you couldn’t have scripted and the PWA would like to extend their thanks to the organisers and the local people for their hospitality and we look forward to hopefully returning in 2018.
